Section 1. Upon execution of the affiliation agreement between UPTE-CWA 9119 and the Society for Professional Scientists and Engineers (SPSE) the relationship between SPSE and UPTE-CWA 9119 will be regulated by this article of the UPTE-CWA 9119 constitution and the affiliation agreement. If at any time SPSE becomes a chartered local of UPTE-CWA 9119 or becomes unaffiliated from UPTE-CWA 9119, this Article shall be deleted from the UPTE-CWA 9119 constitution.

Section 2. SPSE will be granted a position on the UPTE-CWA 9119 executive board. The initial term of office shall end at the convention of 2002 and shall be for a term of three years in subsequent elections.

Section 3. SPSE members will become members of UPTE-CWA 9119 once SPSE begins to pay the standard CWA national dues rate for non-exclusively represented employees of $2 per member per month. As SPSE members they will have all the benefits, obligations and rights of UPTE-CWA 9119 members.

Section 4. SPSE will be granted delegate(s) representation at the UPTE-CWA 9119 annual convention in accordance with the representation formula described in Article V, Sections 5-7 once SPSE begins to contribute the CWA national dues as described in above Section 3.

Section 5. The SPSE dues rate will be stipulated in the UPTE-CWA 9119-SPSE affiliation agreement.
