We have made huge strides in moving UC from their initial, insulting proposals by showing our determination to fight for a contract that protects our wage standards and strengthens our employment rights.

 

Victories for Research (RX) and Technical (TX)!

– $2000 lump sum, prorated to appointment percentage*
– 3% already imposed (For missed 2017 raise)
– 3% on ratification (For missed 2018 raise)
– 3% in July 2020 + each year
– No dangerous opt-out from our retirement plan
– Daily overtime (after 8 hours or regularly scheduled shift) & doubletime (after 12 hours)**

 

Victories for Healthcare Professionals (HX)!

– 5% + step increase on ratification (For missed FY 17 & 18 raises)

– 3% in July 2020 + each year

– Step increases in January 2020 + each year, lump sums for those at the top step

– No dangerous opt-out from our retirement plan

 

What we’re still fighting for for RX and TX:

– 3% in January 2020 (For missed 2019 raise)
– 3% for Business Technology Support Analysts (who were unfairly excluded from 3% imposition)
– Annual step increases to reward dedication to UC, lump sums for those at the top step
– No cap on retirement benefits

 

What we’re still fighting for HX:

– No cap on pension benefits
– No exclusion of Counseling Psychologists or workers who have received equity increases
– Daily Overtime (after 8 hours or regularly scheduled shift) & Doubletime (after 12 hours)
