Nominations have been accepted for the offices of President, Executive Vice President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. This election is for officers to complete the three-year terms from the 2020 elections (2021-2023). The election will be held from June 9, 2022 – July 9, 2022.
The nominees are:

- Jamie McDole, UCD
Executive Vice President:
- Daniel Thompson, Butte College
- Matias Campos, UCSF
- Joaquin Chavez, UCD
- Ursula Quinn, UCLA
- Jason Rosenbury, UCSF
- Matt Stephen, UCSF
- Shanna Vela, Butte College
- Carole Netter, UCLA
Voting by mail: UPTE will conduct this election by mail. All ballots and the election announcement will be mailed to the last known address on file.
If you’ve recently moved or had problems with receiving your ballot before, please contact the Systemwide office (510-704-8783 / firstname.lastname@example.org) to update your info.
If anyone you know is not yet a member, please encourage them to join now to become eligible to vote. Ballot packets will be mailed to new members when they join. Non-members can join by filling out a membership form here: https://www.upte.org/memberapp/
IN ORDER TO BE COUNTED, YOUR BUSINESS REPLY ENVELOPE MUST BE RECEIVED BY MK ELECTIONS NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, JULY 9, 2022.
If you make a mistake on your ballot, lose your ballot, or need any materials which accompanied your ballot, you may request a replacement by calling MK Elections at (209) 259-6740, press 5. Duplicate ballot requests will be processed within one business day.
