2020 Call for Nominations for
Systemwide Executive Board Officers


Nominations are due November 5th

Nominations will be accepted for the offices of President, Executive Vice President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Officers shall be elected for a term of three years (2021-2024). The President is an automatic delegate to the CWA convention.

Any member in good standing may be nominated provided the nominee consents. A member may self nominate. Nominations are subject to confirmation by the Election Committee. Nominations will be accepted beginning October 22, 2020 and must be received no later than 5 PM PDT November 5, 2020.

Each nomination must include the name of the nominee, local affiliation, a statement of qualifications (maximum 200 words) and name of nominator.

If any of the positions are contested, an election will be held from December 1, 2020 – December 15, 2020.

Electronic voting: UPTE uses electronic balloting/voting. If you wish to receive a paper ballot instead, you must notify the UPTE office (see below) by November 15, 2020. If emailing your request, use subject line: Paper ballot requested.
