Pete at the 2008 UPTE Convention
Pete Goodman, 89, died on May Day.
Pete spent his life as a passionate, articulate force in support of the rights and dignity of working people around the world.
UPTE's executive board learned of
Pete's death as it began its May meeting and passed this resolution in Pete's honor.
Pete's Memorial is scheduled: Sun, May 23.

Well Pete, You were always a joy to be with. I'm graduating from college June 3rd and I know your spirit will be smiling down.

Oh to lose such a great person. I will always love his since of humor and the fabulous stories he would tell of his life history. He always walked around with a smile on his face and if you asked him for advice he would give it freely. He will truely be missed by me.
Pete was like a father to me, during my 'painful' growing teen/early twenty - years. I didn't seem him much, after those years, but am thankful we met. Every once in a while, I would stop and would think about him and smile. He was a good guy who will be sorely missed by all he knew. Rest in peace.
