(1) Protest the Trump Inauguration and Agenda
President-elect Trump’s campaign rhetoric of anti-worker, anti-women, anti-immigrant, and pro-billionaire politics is already coming to fruition with his cabinet nominees. Far from draining the swamp with these nominees, Trump has brought in the swamp monsters.

These billionaires and millionaires will be profiteering from privatization of public services, no more minimum wage increases, new laws to undercut union strength, voter suppression politics to keep the poor and people of color from voting, and millions losing health care – all enforced by law enforcement “getting tough.” We can anticipate widespread oppositional movements as these billionaires loot our country.

Add your voice to the opposition. Attend either an anti-inauguration event on Friday, January 20, or one of over 600 Women’s Marches (all welcome!) on Saturday, January 21.

(2) Bargaining Surveys Due
TX, RX, and HX delegates from all over UPTE will convene February 25 in Sacramento to evaluate the results of our bargaining survey. Make sure that your voice is heard and fill out your survey. Surveys can be obtained from your UPTE zone contact and staff.
